Get to know us
At Verti, we believe good food doesn’t have to travel far, waste land, or lose its soul along the way.
We grow organic produce indoors using real soil, natural pollination, and carefully controlled environments—stacked vertically to use space smarter, not harder. No hydroponics, no shortcuts, no synthetic inputs. Just plants grown the way they like it, with a little help from technology.
Our farms are designed to be clean, consistent, and climate-independent, so flavour, freshness, and quality stay predictable all year round. Bees do the pollinating, soil does the nurturing, and data helps us get better every harvest.
Verti exists to prove that farming can be more thoughtful, more efficient, and a lot more fun—without compromising on taste or integrity.
Good things grow up.

Our mission
To grow premium organic produce indoors using real soil, natural pollination, and thoughtful technology—making farming more efficient, sustainable, and flavour-forward without compromising on integrity.
Our vision
To build a future where fresh, organic food is grown closer to people, independent of climate, gentle on the planet, and produced through farming systems that work in harmony with nature.

Who We Are
We’re a company of scientists, farmers, business people, creatives, and even a few friendly robots.
What started over a decade ago at the University of Wyoming has spread across the US to Virginia, where we’ll continue a radically new way to grow crops.
''We felt that technology could help feed a lot of people, extend lives, fight environmental destabilization, and give land back to the natural landscape. Producing food is a good, honest pursuit, but the food system is complex and abstract. I hope that Verti can change that.''
